Hasan Syukron, Mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Universitas Tidar, kembali lolos Program Hibah Bina Desa Tahun 2017. Tahun lalu, Syukron juga lolos kompetisi ini. Kali ini, PHBD yang akan diusulkan oleh timnya berjudul Pemberdayaan Kaum Buruh Serabutan Berbasis Ekonomi Kreatif dengan Sistem Bank Limbah melalui Daur Ulang Limbah Jati Kering menjadi Sepatu Bermotif Tulang Daun yang Ramah Lingkungan di Desa Sidorejo, Kecamatan Bandongan, Kabupaten Magelang. Dengan program ini, Syukron dan timnya akan mengawal, melatih, dan membina usaha sepatu bermotif tulang daun di Desa Sidorejo yang siap dipasarkan.
Program ini merupakan kompetisi tahunan yang diadakan oleh Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Dikti (Kemenristeksikti). Alurnya, Direktorat Jenderal Pembelajaran dan Kemahasiswaan Kemenristekdikti menawarkan kepada organisasi mahasiswa untuk mengikuti PHBD 2017. Kemudian, Hasan Syukron atas nama Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Keluarga Mahasiswa (BEM KM) Untidar mengajukan praproposal PHBD. Sekarang, praproposal tersebut telah lolos sebagai proposal yang akan didanai dan lanjut ke tahap presentasi untuk menentukan jumlah dana yang akan diperoleh.
“Presentasi akan diadakan di Hotel HOM Semarang pada 6 – 7 Mei 2017,” tutur Hasan Syukron, mahasiswa semester 4 ini. Tim pada program ini berjumlah 7 mahasiswa, Syukron sebagai ketua. Anita Nur Amalia (PBSI), Umi Mitayani (FE), Septina Tri Huwaida (PBSI), Khusnul Soneta Walah (PBSI), Nuriyanto (PBSI), dan Rega Bagoes Nurvianto (PBSI) sebagai anggota.
“Awalnya, saya mengamati di Desa Sidorejo terdapat 6 hektar pohon jati. Akan tetapi, pohon tersebut hanya dimanfaatkan kayunya, sedangkan bagian lainnya belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Padahal, daun jati bisa dijadikan motif sepatu yang menarik. Oleh karena itu, kami berencana akan menjalankan PHBD di sana. Mulai dari pengenalan, pelatihan, dan pembinaan masyarakat agar bisa memanfaatkan daun jati kering untuk motif sepatu sampai pemasaran dan usaha tersebut tetap berjalan meskipun program telah berhenti. Alokasi waktu program ini 7 bulan dan anggaran yang kami ajukan 45 juta,” tutur Syukron dengan penuh semangat.
“Sebetulnya dana dan kesempatan berprestasi untuk mahasiswa itu selalu ada, asalkan mereka berani untuk keluar dari zona nyaman sebagai mahasiswa biasa. Selain itu, sebaiknya ada dukungan dari universitas untuk hasil dari Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) dan PHBD dikelola oleh unit kewirausahaan,” kata Rangga Asmara, M.Pd., dosen pembimbing PHBD tersebut.

[FKIP – 2/05/17] – Hasan Syukron, the student of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program (PBSI), gets Village Grants Program (PHBD) 2017 for the second time as what he did last year. This year, his team proposed a program with the title “Pemberdayaan Kaum Buruh Serabutan Berbasis Ekonomi Kreatif dengan Sistem Bank Limbah melalui Daur Ulang Limbah Jati Kering menjadi Sepatu Bermotif Tulang Daun yang Ramah Lingkungan di Desa Sidorejo, Kecamatan Bandongan, Kabupaten Magelang.” Through this program, they will escort and train the society in Sidorejo, Magelang in developing the bone-leaf patterned shoes which is ready-to-market.
PHBD program is held annually by Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education. There are several steps should be taken by Syukron Hasan and his team in getting PHBD. Firtsly, Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education offers PHBD 2017 program to students’ organisation. Taking the offer, Syukron and his team tried to submit a proposal on behalf of Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Keluarga Mahasiswa (BEM KM) Tidar University. At last, their proposal passed it. It will be funded and continued into the next stage. In the next stage, they have to present their proposal to decide the amount of the grant that will be recieved by them.
“The presentation will be held on 6th – 7th of May 2017 at HOM Hotel Semarang,” said Hasan Syukron. As the leader of the team, Hasan Syukron leads their six members, they are Anita Nur Amalia (Faculty of Education and Teacher’s Training), Umi Mkitayani (Faculty of Economics), Septina Tri Huwaida (Faculty of Education and Teacher’s Training), Khusnul Soneta Walah (Faculty of Education and Teacher’s Training), Nuriyanto (Faculty of Education and Teacher’s Training), and Rega Bagoes Nurvianto (Faculty of Education and Teacher’s Training).
“At first, I observed that there is a six-hectare of teak trees in Sidorejo. Unfortunately, the society only use the wood. They don’t use the other parts of teak trees fully yet. They don’t know that the leaves can be used as an interesting pattern for shoes. For that reason, we are going to conduct the program of PHBD in Sidorejo. The program itself will be started from introducing, training, and coaching about our program so that the society can use dried teak leaves as an unique ready-to-market pattern for shoes. When the program has finished, Hasan Syukron and his team hope that bone-leaf patterned shoes business will still be able to continue. The time allotment proposed for the program is 7 months and 45 million rupiah has been proposed,” added Hasan Syukron excitedly.
Rangga Asmara, M. Pd., the students’ supervisor for PHBD program, explains that the students always have chances to get PHBD program. “As long as they are brave enough to come out from their comfort zone as ordinary students, fund and chances are always open for them. Besides, support from the university is also needed to manage the result from PHBD program,” said Rangga Amara, M. Pd. (WJ – NA)
