Senin (11/12), Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (PBSI) mengadakan penyerahan Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) ke Bernama TV di Malaysia. PKL tersebut diikuti oleh mahasiswa semester 5 yang mengikuti matakuliah Praktik Jurnalistik.  Mereka akan berada di Malaysia selama satu bulan untuk PKL tersebut.

“PKL Internasional ini memang baru pertama kali di PBSI. Akan tetapi, selanjutnya akan menjadi program tahunan. Harapan kami kegiatan ini makin menguatkan salah satu profil lulusan PBSI sebagai jurnalis,” kata Koordinator PBSI, Rangga Asmara, M.Pd.

Saat ini mahasiswa yang mengikuti PKL Internasional sebanyak 5 mahasiswa. Mereka adalah Anggun Fitria Anindhi dan Azizoel Metiadini  pada divisi Creative Program Radio dan Televisi, Nirma Melati divisi presenter, Meyta Lanjarwati divisi anchor, dan Junsa Ma Wika Re Kresna divisi cameraman. Kelima mahasiswa tersebut terpilih setelah melalui proses pendaftaran dan penjaringan serta seleksi administrasi dan wawancara oleh prodi untuk menentukan divisi peminatan.

Kelima mahasiswa PBSI tersebut diserahkan oleh Wakil Dekan Bidang Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan FKIP sekaligus Dosen Praktik Jurnalistik, Drs. Hari Wahyono, M.Pd., kepada Hakimi Mohd Zain selaku Chief Operations Office dan Nur Syazwani Zainudin selaku Penolong Eksekutif Latihan Pusat Kecemerlangan.

Azizoel Metiadini, salah satu peserta PKL Internasional, mengatakan diterima dengan baik di Bernama TV. “Kami sangat senang dengan sambutan di sini. Semua orang yang ada di Bernama TV ramah-ramah. Selain itu, kami juga benar-benar diajari mulai dari awal untuk proses kreatif di media massa televisi.”

Bernama TV atau Bernama News Channel (BNC) merupakan saluran TV berita milik Malaysia. Stasiun TV tersebut didirikan tahun 2008 dan sudah memiliki banyak acara yang dioperasikan selama 24 jam. WJ

Monday (11/12), Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program (PBSI) held handover of internship to Bernama TV in Malaysia. This internship was followed by 5th semester students who joined journalistic in practice course. They will be in Malaysia for about a month.

“This international internship was the first time for PBSI, but this internship will be annually activity. We hope this activity will further strengthen one of PBSI graduate’s profile as journalist,’ said the coordinator of PBSI, Rangga Asmara, M.Pd.

Students who join this internship are Anggun Fitria Anidhi and Azizoel Metiadini in Creative of Radio and Television Program division, Nirma Melati in Presenter divison, Metya Lanjarwati in anchor division, and Junsa Ma Wika Re Kresna in cameraman division. Those five students are chosen through registration, administration and interview selection by study program to determine division specialization.

Those five students are handed over by the Vice Dean for Academic and Students Affairs of Faculty of Education and Teacher raining (FKIP), who also a lecturer of journalistic in practice course, Drs. Hari Wahyono, M.Pd. to Hakimi Mohd Zain as Chief Operation Office and Nur Syazwani Zainudin as Assistant Executive of Training Center.

Azizoel Metiadini, one of the interns, said that they are welcomed by Bernama TV. “We are so pleased with the welcome here. Everyone in Bernama TV is friendly. In addition, we are also being taught from the beginning of the creative process in the mass media of Television.”

Bernama TV or Bernama News Channel (BNC) is Malaysian news channel. This TV station was established in 2008 and already has many events which are operated for 24 hours. (GF)

FKIP-UNTIDAR (24/10). Dalam rangka Praktik Kerja Lapangan Jurnalistik, mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Untidar, Selasa 24 Oktober 2017 diterjunkan di Kantor Perwakilan dan Iklan Koran Suara Merdeka Jalan Pierre Tendean Magelang. Mahasiswa yang mengikuti Praktik Kerja Lapangan ini merupakan mahasiswa semester 5.

Kedatangan mahasiswa di kantor Suara Merdeka, disambut baik oleh pimpinan Suara Merdeka Karesidenan Kedu dan DIY Bapak Drs. H. Dodhy Yulianto W., MBA dan salah satu wartawan senior Suara Merdeka Eko Priyono. Dalam penyambutannya, mahasiswa diberi pembekalan awal berupa sejarah koran dan bagaimana cara koran dapat bertahan hingga kini.

Ayu Wulandari, M.Pd. dosen Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Untidar yang menjadi Pembimbing PKL Jurnalistik di Suara Merdeka, menuturkan “Praktik Kerja Lapangan ini merupakan aplikasi dari teori perkuliahan jurnalistik yang sudah mahasiswa dapatkan di semester 4. Mahasiswa harus memanfaatkan sebaik-baiknya dan menyerap ilmunya sebanyak-banyaknya. Sebelum bekerja meliput berita, mahasiswa harus melihat SOPnya terlebih dahulu sehingga hasil output benar-benar sesuai visi misi Suara Merdeka.”

Beliau juga memaparkan harapannya ke depan “Dengan Praktik Kerja Lapangan ini, keterampilan mahasiswa dalm bidang jurnalistik semakin bertambah, mahasiswa dapat memasarkan informasi terkini melalui media cetak dan elektronik. Harapan lainnya, semoga Praktik Kerja Lapangan Jurnalistik menjadi ajang pengabdian pada masyarakat melalui siaran pers.” (WL)

FETT-UNTIDAR (24/10). In the framework of Journalistic Field Work Practice, students of Indonesian Language and Literature Studies Program FETT Untidar, Tuesday, October 24, 2017 deployed in the Office of Representatives and Newspaper Advertising Suara Merdeka in Magelang. Students who follow this Field Work Practice are students of 5th semester.

The arrival of students in the Suara Merdeka office, welcomed by the leader of Suara Merdeka of Kedu Residency and Yogyakarta Special Region, Drs. H. Dodhy Yulianto W., MBA and one senior journalist of Suara Merdeka, Eko Priyono. In his welcoming speech, students were given an initial briefing in the form of newspaper history and how the newspaper can survive until now.

Ayu Wulandari, M.Pd., a lecturer of Indonesian Language and Literature Education FETT Untidar, who guides Journalistic Field Work Practice in Suara Merdeka, said “This Field Work Practice is an application of journalistic lecture theory that students have got in the Fourth Semester. Students should make the best use and take the kowledge as much as possible. Before working on covering the news, students must see the SOPs first so that the output results are exactly in line with the vision of the Suara Merdeka mission. “

He also expressed his future hope, “By doing this Field Work Practice, student skills in the field of journalism is increasing, students have marketing ability for the latest information through print and electronic media. Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (Himpro PBSI) mengadakan acara Gelar Sastra dengan tema “Jerait Sastra untuk Segenap Rasa” pada Selasa malam (12/9). Acara tersebut diisi dengan 26 penampilan sastra dari Mahasiswa Untidar dan komunitas sastra lainnya.

“Peserta acara ini sangat banyak dan meningkat dari tahun lalu. Dulu, gelar sastra merupakan acara yang seolah milik mahasiswa PBSI saja, lalu meningkat dimeriahkan oleh mahasiswa se-universitas. Tahun ini, gelar sastra dihadiri oleh penikmat sastra dari masyarakat umum, seperti Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang yang sedang praktik mengajar di Kota Magelang, Mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, serta Komunitas Sastra dari Magelang dan Temanggung. Hal tersebut merupakan kebanggan bagi kami,” tutur Mohammad Dwi raharjo, Ketua Himpro PBSI saat memberikan sambutan.

Malam ini berbagai jenis kegiatan sastra ditampilkan oleh Mahasiswa Untidar maupun masyarakat umum dan para tamu undangan. Kegiatan tersebut berupa musikalisasi puisi, teater, monolog, menyanyi solo dan grup, serta stand up comedy.

Sastrawan Magelang saperti Gepeng dan E.S. Wibowo turut membacakan puisi mereka. Selain itu, Komunitas Sastra Temanggung, KSS3G, juga turut tampil bernyanyi dan membacakan puisi. Acara yang berlangsung pukul 19.00 – 23.30 WIB tersebut sangat meriah dengan kehadiran sekitar 300 orang peserta. Masyarakat umum yang datang seperti Mahasiswa Unnes juga berkenan membacakan satu puisi.

“Kami sangat bersyukur dengan banyaknya peserta yang datang. Kami berharap tahun depan akan lebih meriah lagi dengan penampilan dari sastrawan-sastrawan lainnya. Acara ini merupakan agenda tahunan Himpro PBSI untuk menggemakan semarak mencintai dan mengapresiasi karya sastra,” ujar Muh. Ikhsan, Mahasiswa Semester 3 PBSI sekaligus ketua panitia. WJ

Student Association of Language and Literature Education Study Program (Himpro PBSI) held a Literary Degree event with the theme ” Jerait Sastra untuk Segenap Rasa” on Tuesday night (12/9). The event was filled with 26 literary performances from Untidar students and other literary communities.

“Many participants attend this event and increase from last year. In the past, literature was an event that seemed to belong to PBSI students only, then increased enlivened by university students. This year, the literary title was attended by literary connoisseurs from the general public, such as the State University of Semarang students who are doing teaching practice in Magelang City, University of Muhammadiyah Malang students, and the Literary Community from Magelang and Temanggung. It is a pride for us, “said Mohammad Dwi Raharjo, Chairman of Himpro PBSI when giving a speech.

Tonight various types of literary activities are featured by Untidar students as well as the general public and invited guests. The activities are musical poems, theater, monologue, solo singing and group, as well as stand up comedy.

Magelang writers like Gepeng and E.S. Wibowo also recited their poems. In addition, the Community of Temanggung Literature, KSS3G, also performed singing and reciting poetry. The event which is held at 19.00 – 23.30 p.m. was very festive with the presence of about 300 participants. The common people who come like Unnes students are also willing to read a poem.

Selasa (12/9) suara gemuruh terdengar dari Auditorium Universitas Tidar. Pagi itu, Himpunan Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (Himpro PBSI) menggelar Seminar Sastra bertema “Membangun Sikap Toleransi Melalui Pengajaran Sastra”. Acara tersebut dihadiri oleh sastrawan nasional Sosiawan Leak dan pengajar sastra andal Maria Utami sebagai narasumber.

Setyo Herbi, Ketua Panitia, mengatakan acara tersebut merupakan agenda rutin Himpro PBSI. Gelaran seminar sastra kali ini memiliki tema tersebut mengingat Negara Indonesia saat ini sedang dihadapkan pada permasalahan perihal toleransi, khususnya dalam hal agama.

Dengan kasih sayang kita simpan bedil dan kelewang, kutipan puisi Rendra tersebut menggambarkan toleransi yang sangat tinggi. Sikap lembut dan kasih sayang merupakan fondasi utama toleransi,” kata Sosiawan Leak saat membuka materi. Selanjutnya, sastrawan asal Solo tersebut menjelaskan sikap toleransi dapat dibangun dengan kebebasan berekspresi dan tidak memaksakan kehendak.

Acara yang dihadiri oleh mahasiswa dari Untidar, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, dan ISI Yogyakarta ini semakin semarak setelah narasumber kedua M.A. Utami Eko Putranti memberikan penjelasan pengajaran sastra yang menarik melalui penggunaan majas dengan metode unduh kata. Guru Bahasa Indonesia berprestasi asal Kabupaten Semarang tersebut menekankan bahwa melalui sastra seorang guru dapat mengajarkan toleransi kepada peseta didiknya.

Dengan Sastra, Kita Bangun Toleransi

Sejak acara dibuka oleh Prof. Dr. Sukarno, M.Si, Dekan FKIP, kemeriahan acara memang sudah sangat terasa. Apalagi, bengkel seni juga menampilkan teater yang sangat memukau ditambah puisi Makna Cinta yang dideklamasikan dengan penuh penghayatan oleh Sosiawan Leak. Sastrawan Bambang Eka dan Maria Utami juga turut membacakan puisi pada akhir acara tersebut.

Leak mengatakan toleransi perlu dibangun dengan fakta artistik dan imajinatif dalam suatu karya sastra agar menarik untuk dinikmati. Beliau juga menambahkan beberapa karya sastra sudah dibangun untuk mengajarkan toleransi, seperti novel Ayah karya Andrea Hirata, Gajah Mada: Madakaripura Hamukri Moksa karya Langit Kresnadi Hariadi, dan Puisi TIga Perempuan Membawa Tuhan karya Maman S. Mahayana.

Beberapa mahasiswa mengaku seminar tersebut sangat menyenangkan. “Saya mendapatkan banyak sekali informasi tentang manfaat belajar sastra sehingga makin tertarik untuk membaca karya sastra,” kata Widya Mega Anggara, Mahasiswa PBSI Semester 1. Koordinator PBSI, Rangga Asmara, M.Pd., berharap Himaprodi selalu konsisten untuk mengadakan acara yang bermanfaat menguatkan profil lulusan, seperti kajian satra semacam ini. WJ

 Tuesday (12/9), a roar sounded from the Auditorium of Tidar University. That morning, the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (Himpro PBSI) held a Literary Seminar entitled “Building Tolerance Through Literary Teaching”. The event was attended by national writer, Sosiawan Leak and literary instructor, Maria Utami as keynote speakers.

Setyo Herbi, Chairman of the Committee, said the event was a routine agenda of Himpro PBSI. This seminar of literature has its theme since Indonesia is currently faced with the problem of tolerance, especially in the case of religion.

“With our compassionate shade of the rifle and kelewang, the quotation of Rendra’s poem represents a very high tolerance. Gentle attitude and affection is the main foundation of tolerance, “said Sosiawan Leak when opening the material. Furthermore, the writer from Solo explained that tolerance can be built with freedom of expression and not impose the will.

The event attended by students from Untidar, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, and ISI Yogyakarta was more vibrant after the second speaker, M.A. Utami Eko Putranti, provides an interesting explanation of the teaching of literature through the use of figure of speech by the method of downloading words. She said that through a teacher’s literature, the teacher can teach tolerance to the students.

WE BUILD TOLERANCE THROUGH LITERATURE

Since the event was opened by Prof. Dr. Sukarno, M.Si, Dean of FETT, the festivity of the event was already very felt. Moreover, the art workshop also features a stunning theater and the poetry of the Meaning of Love which was declared with full appreciation by Sosiawan Leak. Bambang Eka and Maria Utami also read poetry at the end of the event.

Leak says tolerance needs to be built with artistic and imaginative facts in a literary work to be interesting to enjoy. He also added that several literary works have been built to teach tolerance, such as the novel by Andrea Hirata, Gajah Mada: Madakaripura Hamukri Moksa by Langit Kresnadi Hariadi, and Tiga Perempuan Membawa Tuhan Poem by Maman S. Mahayana.

Some students admitted the seminar was very enjoyable. “I get a lot of information about the benefits of literary learning so that more interested to read literary works,” said Widya Mega Anggara, PBSI Students Semester 1. Untidar — Sabtu malam (08/07/17) Teater Klebus mengadakan pementasan drama berjudul Dr. Anda karya Wisran Hadi. Pementasan berlokasi di Gedung Auditorium Untidar. Teater Klebus merupakan sekumpulan mahasiswa Prodi PBSI semester 4 kelas C. Mereka menggelar pementasan dalam rangka proses produksi mata kuliah Drama Pentas yang diampu oleh Imam Baihaqi, M.A.

Dr. Anda bercerita tentang seorang doktor yang memberikan perkuliahan mengenai keadaan Indonesia pada masa penjajahan Belanda dan kearifan lokal di Minangkabau. Karakter Dr. Anda diperankan oleh Eni. Sementara itu, Sukhum Ela bertindak sebagai sutradara.

Untuk menyaksikan pementasan yang dimulai pukul 18.30 ini, penonton tidak dipungut biaya tiket masuk, bahkan mereka mendapatkan makanan ringan gratis. Sejak sore, penonton mulai memadati gedung dan bertahan hingga pertunjukan selesai.

Menurut Imam, ada banyak amanat yang dapat diambil dari pementasan Dr. Anda, misalnya tentang cara menyikapi kearifan lokal. “Banyak amanat yang bisa diambil, misalnya kita harus bisa menyikapi kearifan lokal secara bijaksana,” kata Imam. (IS)

Untidar – Saturday night (08/07/17) Teater Klebus held a drama performance entitled Dr. You by Wisran Hadi. It was held in the Auditorium of Untidar. Teater Klebus is a group of students of Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program (PBSI) semester 4 class C. They held a staging performance as a result Drama Performance course taught by Imam Baihaqi, M.A.

Dr. You tells a story about a doctor who gave lectures on the state of Indonesia during the Dutch colonial period and local wisdom in Minangkabau. The character of Dr. You was played by Eni. Meanwhile, Sukhum Ela was the director.

The performance, which started at 18.30, was free of admission fees for the audience. They even got free snacks! Since the afternoon, the largest building to conduct stage performance at UNTIDAR has been crowded by spectators and they kept holding on until the show was over.

According to Imam, there are many mandates that can be taken from the staging of Dr. You, one of which is how to respond to local wisdom. “A lot of mandates can be taken, for example we have to be able to respond wisely to local wisdom,” said Imam. (AL)

[:id]Evaluasi Kegiatan Akademik Melalui Agenda Rutin Dua Jam Bersama Prodi PBSI[:en]Two Hours with PBSI: Evaluating Academic Activities of PBSI[:]

[:id]FKIP-UNTIDAR (4/07). Dalam rangka evaluasi terhadap kegiatan akademik, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Untidar menyelenggarakan agenda bertajuk “Dua Jam Bersama Prodi PBSI”. Acara ini dilaksanakan di Auditorium Untidar tanggal 19 Juni 2017 lalu. Agenda rutin yang diadakan oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Prodi PBSI ini dihadiri oleh dekan, wakil dekan 1 & 2, pejabat struktural, dan seluruh dosen PBSI FKIP Untidar.

Adapun evaluasi terhadap kegiatan akademik dan evaluasi dosen selama semester genap (2016/2017) ini dilakukan oleh mahasiswa semester 2, 4, 6, dan 8. Sebelum kegiatan evaluasi dilakukan, kegiatan ini dibuka dan disambut oleh Ketua Panitia 2 Jam Bersama Prodi PBSI Pertiwi Julia. Dalam kesempatan ini, ketua panitia menyampaikan “Kegiatan ini sebagai ajang evaluasi proses belajar mengajar dan semoga ke depannya kinerja dosen semakin lebih baik.”

Selain itu, Koorprodi PBSI Rangga Asmara, M.Pd. menambahkan bahwa “Melalui kegiatan ini mahasiswa diharapkan dapat memberikan evaluasi terhadap kegiatan akademik di Prodi PBSI”. Rangga juga menyampaikan bahwa “Selama satu semester ini, ada beberapa capaian di Prodi PBSI. Pertama, pada 17 Februari 2017 Prodi telah mengirimkan borang akreditasi dan telah divisitasi oleh asesor BAN-PT pada 6 Mei 2017. Kedua, ijin operasional Prodi PBI S2 telah keluar dan pendaftaran akan dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni-Agustus 2017. Ketiga, mahasiswa PBSI banyak yang menorehkan prestasi mulai dari tingkat lokal (universitas) sampai nasional”.

Salah satu mahasiswa semester 4 Bondan Prakoso memberikan saran demi perbaikan dan kemajuan Prodi PBSI untuk meningkatkan kerjasama. Kerjasama ini bukan hanya di tingkat fakultas saja, akan tetapi kerjasama dan menjalin kemitraan dengan Prodi PBSI dari berbagai universitas di Indonesia. (WL)

FKIP-UNTIDAR (4/07). Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program (PBSI) held a routine event called “Two Hours with PBSI”. The event was held on June 19th, 2017 by student association of PBSI. It was not only attended by the students of PBSI, but also the dean, the vice dean of academic and students’ affairs and the vice dean of general affairs and finance, structural officials, and also the lecturers of FETT (Faculty of Education and Teacher’s Training) Tidar University.

In this event,  the evaluation towards academic activities and the lecturers for even semester in the academic year of 2016/2017 was done by the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth semester students of PBSI. It was opened and welcomed by the chairman of the comittee, Pertiwi Julia. “This event is as an evaluation towards teaching and learning process. Hopefully in the future the performance of lecturers is getting better,” she explained.

Rangga Asmara, M. Pd., the coordinator of PBSI, added “Through this occasion students are expected to provide an evaluation towards the academic activities of PBSI”. He also explained that in this even semester, PBSI has achieved three outcomes. “ First, on 17th February 2017, has sent accreditation form and has been visited by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology on 6th May 2017. Second, the operational license for the post-graduate program of English Education Study Program has been released and the registration will be started on June until August 2017. Third, mnay students of PBSI have seized various achievments, both local and national level,” he explained.

Bondan Prakoso, the student of fourth semester, gave constructive suggestion for the progress of PBSI itself, especially in enhancing cooperation and partnership not only at faculty level, but also with Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program from various universities in Indonesia. [:id]Dosen PBSI Menjadi Pemakalah dalam Seminar Nasional di Universitas Negeri Malang[:en]FETT: Lecturer of PBSI Became Speaker in National Seminar at State University of Malang[:]

Fifit Firmadani, dosen Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP mengikuti seminar nasional dengan tema “Transformasi Pendidikan Abad 21 untuk Mengembangkan Pendidikan Dasar Bermutu dan Berkarakter” pada hari Sabtu, 6 Mei 2017. Kegiatan itu diselenggarakan oleh  Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Malang Peogram Studi Teknologi Pembelajaran dan Pendidikan Dasar  di Gedung Aula H3 Pascasarjana UM.

Seminar tersebut dihadiri oleh para dosen, pemerhati pendidikan, guru, dan mahasiswa. Jumlahnya sekitar 280 orang yang terdiri dari 140 peserta dan 140 pemakalah. Adapun yang menjadi pembicara seminar yaitu Prof. Dr. Sarwi, M.Si (ketua prodi pendidikan dasar pascasarjana UNNES) dan Prof. Dr. Waras, M.Pd (guru besar prodi teknologi pembelajaran UM).

Acara dibagi menjadi dua sesi yaitu sesi seminar panel  yang diisi oleh dua pemateri dan  sesi seminar pararel yang diikuti oleh peserta call for paper . Makalah peserta tersebut dibagi menjadi tujuh subtema yaitu pembelajaran berbantuan teknologi komputer, pembelajaran berbasis teknologi mobile, pembelajaran berbasis web, inovasi pembelajaran dalam kelas, pembelajaran berbasis komparatif dan kolaborasi, pembelajaran berbasis pendidikan dasar, pembelajaran berbasis pendidikan berkarakter.

Prof.Dr. Sarwi, M.Si. Sebagai pemateri pertama memaparkan mengenai “Pengembangan Sumber Daya Insani Professional  Berkarakter  Abad 21”. Pemateri kedua yaitu Prof. Dr. Waras, M.Pd memaparkan materi mengenai “Rapid Learning dan Kebutuhan Belajar Masa Kini”. Adapun para peserta call for paper mempresentasikan hasil  masing-masing penelitian atau kajian konsep  yang dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok di setiap kelas.

Fifit Firmadani, M.Pd. menyatakan, “Saya membuat makalah kajian konsep sub tema inovasi pembelajaran berbasis kelas dengan mengambil judul Pembelajaran Berbasis Riset sebagai Inovasi Pembelajaran. Saya menuliskan bahwa ketrampilan berpikir kritis sangat penting untuk dibudayakan di dalam pendidikan yang bisa diwujudkan melalui pembelajaran berbasis riset.” Menurutnya, pembelajaran berbasis riset adalah mengintegrasikan riset atau kegiatan penelitian ke dalam pembelajaran, penerapan pembelajaran berbasis riset dapat melalui metode pembelajaran inquiry learning, problem based learning, dan contextual teaching and learning yang dapat berjalan dalam bentuk ceramah interaktif, diskusi, praktik, debat, dan simulasi. Pendidik harus aktif dalam menciptakan dan menerpakan pembelajaran berbasis riset, karena akan melatih peserta didik berpikir kritis sehingga diharapkan menjadi lulusan yang dapat sebagai problem solver dan problem finding dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat.

Dosen pengampu mata kuliah kependidikan tersebut juga menyampaikan tentang manfaat mengikti seminar. “Setelah mengikuti seminar itu pengetahuan saya semakin bertambah dan luas di bidang pendidikan. Selama mengikuti seminar saya dapat berbagi ilmu dengan teman lain baik dari dosen, pemerhati pendidikan, mahasiswa, dan guru. Selain itu, saya dapat menambah relasi dari berbagai lembaga pendidikan. Saya juga jadi lebih bersemangat untuk menulis dan meneliti agar nantinya dapat mengikuti seminar call for paper di lain tempat dan waktu,” tambah Fifit Firmadani, M.Pd. (DZ)

Fifit Firmadani, a lecturer of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program UNTIDAR attended a national seminar entitled “21st Century Education Transformation to Develop Quality and Character Education” on Saturday, May 6, 2017. The event was organized by Graduate Program of State University of Malang, especially Learning Technology Study Program and Primary Education Study Program in Building Hall H3.

The seminar was attended by lecturers, observers of education, teachers, and students. There were 280 audience consisting of 140 participants and 140 speakers. The speakers of the seminar are Prof. Dr. Sarwi, M.Si (Head of the Post-Graduate Education Program of UNNES) and Prof. Dr. Waras, M.Pd (Professor of Learning Technology Study Program UM).

The event is divided into two sessions: panel seminar sessions filled by two speakers and parallel seminar sessions followed by call for paper participants. The participants’ papers are divided into seven sub-themes: computer-aided learning, mobile technology-based learning, web-based learning, classroom learning innovations, comparative and collaborative learning, primary education-based learning, and character-based education based learning.

Prof.Dr. Sarwi, M.Si. as the first speaker explained about “Development of Human Resources Professional Character of the 21st Century.” The second speaker is Prof. Dr. Waras, M.Pd. presented material on “Rapid Learning and Learning Needs of Today.” The participants of the call for paper presented the results of each study or concept study that was divided into several groups in each class.
Fifit Firmadani, M.Pd. stated, “I made a review paper on sub-theme concept of classroom-based innovation by taking the title of Research-Based Learning as Innovation Learning. I write about the critical thinking skills which are very important to be cultivated in education that can be realized through research-based learning.”

According to her, research-based learning is to integrate research or research activities into learning, the application of research-based learning can be through inquiry learning method, problem based learning, and contextual teaching and learning that can run in the form of interactive lectures, discussions, practices, debates, and simulations. Educators must be active in creating and delivering research-based learning, as it will train critical thinking learners so that it is expected to be a graduate who can be a problem solver and problem finding in the society.

The lecturer of the Education Subject also conveyed about the benefits of attending the seminar. “After attending the seminar, I think my knowledge grew and expanded in education. During the seminar, I can share my knowledge with other friends such as lecturers, education observers, students, and teachers. In addition, I can add relationships from various educational institutions. Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Sabtu (6/5) kemarin menjalani proses visitasi akreditasi oleh Tim Asesor Badan Akreditasi Nasional – Perguruan Tinggi (BAN – PT). Tim asesor yang terdiri dari Prof. Dr. Endry Boeriswati, M.Pd. dari Uiversitas Negeri Jakarta serta Prof. Dr. Nurhayati, M.Pd. dari Universitas Sriwijaya disambut hangat oleh seluruh dosen, tenaga pendidik, mahasiswa, serta alumni Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Untidar. Proses visitasi berjalan dengan baik dan lancar, memakan waktu selama satu hari penuh sejak pukul 08.00 hingga pukul 19.00 WIB.

Dalam mempersiapkan visitasi akreditasi seluruh dosen telah bekerja keras sejak setahun lalu. Rangga Asmara, M.Pd. Koordinator Prodi PBSI menjelaskan, “Proses penyusunan borang tidaklah sebentar, sudah disiapkan dari bulan Juni tahun 2016. Memang ada kesulitan pengumpulan data, khususnya di bidang kurikulum seperti silabus, SAP, dan penelitian dosen. Ya mudah-mudahan apa yang dicita-citakan bisa tercapai, prodi PBSI kembali meraih nilai A.” Sebagai informasi saat ini prodi PBSI terakreditasi B oleh BAN – PT maka tak ayal jika para dosen berupaya keras dan optimis untuk meningkatkan nilai akreditasinya,

Dokumen borang Prodi (III A) dinilai oleh Prof. Dr. Nurhayati, M.Pd. ditanggapi Ketua Jurusan FKIP Lilia Indriani, M.Pd. serta Koordinator Program Studi PBSI, Rangga Asmara, M.Pd. Selain itu hadir pula para dosen pengajar prodi yang turut serta membantu penyusunan borang dari awal hingga akhir. Di lain tempat, borang institusi FKIP Untidar (III B) dinilai oleh Prof. Dr. Endry Boeriswati, M.Pd. ditanggapi Dekan FKIP Prof. Dr. Sukarno, M.Si., Wakil Dekan I Drs. Hari Wahyono, M.Pd., serta Wakil Dekan II Dr. Dwi Winarsih, M.Pd. Dalam penilaian borang ini ditanyakan hal-hal terkait visi-misi fakultas, struktur organisasi fakultas, suasana akademik, instrumen mutu, peningkatan sumber daya manusia, dan masalah seputar pembiayaan.

Seperti pada saat visitasi dan verifikasi pada umumnya, prodi ataupun fakultas diminta menunjukkan bukti-bukti fisik berbagai kegiatan yang dilaporkan dalam keterangan borang, seperti berbagai notulen rapat, surat undangan rapat, daftar peserta rapat, SK Mengajar, Sertifikat Pendidik, Kurikulum, Jejak Alumni, berbagai SOP, dokumen PMB, jurnal, karya dosen dan mahasiswa, akses kerjasama dalam dan luar negeri, serta bukti fisik pendukung lainnya.

Dari hasil visitasi tersebut tim asesor menyampaikan beberapa rekomendasi seperti, harus meningkatkan sumber daya manusia dengan memperbanyak lulusan doktor dan menambah jenjang kepangkatan dosen. Berbagai penelitian harus bisa bersaing di luar prodi atau universitas dan penelitian tersebut harus bisa dipublikasikan dalam jurnal ilmiah untuk dapat meningkatkan jenjang prodi. Dalam bidang kurikulum disarankan untuk lebih banyak mengikuti asosiasi. Saran terakhir, supaya dapat mengembangkan perpustakaan online berikut sarana prasarana, akses komputer yang disediakan, sumber pustaka ditingkatkan, dan memperbanyak jurnal internasional yang dilanggan. [ FKIP – 9/05/17] – Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program (PBSI) got a visit from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology. The assessors  of BAN-PT visited PBSI, Tidar University to hold accreditation visitation on May 6th 2017. BAN-PT Assessors team which consisted of. Dr. Endry Boeriswati, M.Pd. (Universitas Negeri Jakarta) and Prof. Dr. Nurhayati, M.Pd. (Universitas Sriwijaya) was welcomed warmly by the lecturers, the educational staffs, the students, and also the alumni of PBSI Tidar University.  The process of visitation ran well and it started from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.

In preparing the visitation, the lectures of PBSI had been working since last year. Rangga Asmara, M.Pd. the coordinator of PBSI explained, “The process for preparing the forms for accreditation is not an easy thing. We have been preparing them since June 2016.” He added that his team experienced difficulty in collecting several data, especially curriculum fields such as syllabus, lesson plans, and some research done by the lecturers of PBSI.  “Hopefully PBSI could repeat a satisfying achievment like what we did several years before, we could achieve score A for the accreditation,” asserted him. For now, PBSI has accreditation B from BAN-PT, so there is no doubt the lecturers worked harder and become optimistic to increase the value of accreditation.

The documents of form IIIA (study program) was assessed by Prof. Dr. Nurhayati, M.Pd. and responded by Lilia Indriani, M.Pd.as the chair of department and Rangga Asmara, M.Pd. as the coordinator of PBSI. This event was also attended by other lecturers of PBSI who helped on preparing the forms. In the other hand, the documents of form IIIB (institution) was assessed by Prof. Dr. Endry Boeriswati, M.Pd. and responded by  Prof. Dr. Sukarno, M.Si. as the dean of Faculty of Education and Teacher’s Training (FETT), Drs. Hari Wahyono, M.Pd. as the Vice Dean of Academic and Students’ Affairs, and  Dr. Dwi Winarsih, M.Pd. as the Vice Dean of General Affairs and Finance. The assessors also asked about several things related to the faculty such as visions and missions, organization structure, academic environment, quality instruments, human resources, and things related to finance.

In the process of visitation, the study program and faculty were asked to show physical evidence of the forms such as meeting reports, meeting invitation, list of meeting participants, teaching decree, educator certificates, curriculum, tracer study, Standard Operations Procedures, documents of new students admission, journals, lecturers and students’ works, and other physical evidence.

From the assessment process, the assessors gave some recomendations for PBSI. They recomended to improve the human resources by increasing the number of doctoral graduates and   increasing the level of academic rank for the lecturers. For the curriculum, it was suggested to join more active in any association. Besides, they also suggested to improve the competitiveness of research fields. Their research results should be published in order to  improve the level of PBSI. Last but not least, the improvement of online library by was suggested followed by the improvement of facilities and infastructures, library sources, and international journal subscription. Ikatan Mahasiswa Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia se-Indonesia (IMABSII) Wilayah Jawa-Madura mengadakan lomba esai nasional dalam rangka Musyawarah Wilayah V Imabsii dengan tema “Memperkuat Peran Bahasa Indonesia di Era Global”. Lomba tersebut diikuti mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Untidar, Mohamad Dwi Raharjo dan Ridwan Setyo Pambudi.

Lomba esai ini diselenggarakan sebagai rangkaian kegiatan Muswil V Imabsii Jawa-Madura 2017 yang diselenggarakan di Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Surakarta, pada 6 – 10 Maret 2017. “Kami mewakili himpunan mahasiswa Prodi PBSI mengikuti acara tersebut. Lalu, setiap peserta diwajibkan untuk mengikuti lomba esai dengan anggota maksimal dua mahasiswa,” tutur Muhammad Dwi Raharjo yang juga Ketua Himaprodi PBSI Untidar.

Pada kesempatan tersebut, Dwi Rahajo dan Ridwan menulis esai berjudul “Diskursus Pemertahanan Bahasa Indonesia di Era MEA”. “Kami menulis tentang gagasan untuk mempertahankan bahasa Indonesia melaui usaha pembakuan. Usaha tersebut antara lain: berkomunikasi dengan bahasa Indonesia yang tepat serta kodifikasi bahasa Indonesia menurut situasi pemakaian dan struktur bahasa,” tambah Dwi Raharjo, mahasiswa PBSI Semester IV ini.

Esai tersebut berhasil mengantarkan mereka menjadi juara pertama disusul perwakilan mahasiswa dari Universitas Islam Negeri Jakarta sebagai juara kedua dan Universitas Negeri Semarang sebagai juara ketiga.

Bertindak sebagai juri pada lomba esai tersebut adalah Dra. Ani Rakhmawati, M.A., Ph.D., Prof. Dr. Sarwiji Suwandi, M.Pd., dan Dr. Budhi Setiawan, M.Pd., ketiganya adalah Dosen UNS. Sebagai hadiah, panitia akan memberikan uang pembinaan dan sertifikat. Akan tetapi, Dwi Raharjo dan Ridwan mengatakan belum menerima hadiah saat penulis mengonfirmasikan kepada keduanya.

Langkah kedua mahasiswa PBSI Untidar ini sebagai bentuk keterlibatan pada forum mahasiswa tingkat nasional. Selamat Dwi Raharjo dan Ridwan, semoga kalian dapat memotivasi mahasiswa lainnya untuk berprestasi pada forum-forum ilmiah. (WJ)

(UNTIDAR-20/03/17) – Students Association of Indonesian Language and Literature (Imabsii) in Jawa-Madura Region held National Essay Competeition in order to Regional Forum V (Muswil) with the theme “Memperkuat Peran Bahasa Indonesia di Era Global”. Mohamad Dwi Raharjo and Ridwan Setyo Pambudi, students of PBSI Tidar University, joinned on that competition.

The Competition was organized by Sebelas Maret University (UNS) as a series actcivity of Muswil V Imabsii in Java-Madura region 2017. It was held in Surakarta, from 6th – 10th March 2017. “We, as the delegation of PBSI, take part in that competition. Every delegation should enroll in Essay Competition,” said Muhammad Dwi Raharjo who is also the chief of Students’ Association of PBSI.

On that occasion, Dwi Rahajo and Ridwan wrote an essay entitled “Diskursus  Pemertahanan Bahasa Indonesia di Era MEA”. “We write about an idea to maintain Bahasa Indonesia through standardization. For examples, we can communicate with Bahasa Indonesia correctly and  Bahasa Indonesia codification based on the use of the language structure,” added Dwi Raharjo.

Their essay drove them into the first winner of the competition, followed by delegation from Universitas Islam Negeri Jakarta as the second winner and Semarang State University as the third winner.

Three lecturers from UNS became  judges for the competition, they were Dra. Ani Rakhmawati, M.A., Ph.D., Prof. Dr. Sarwiji Suwandi, M.Pd., and Dr. Budhi Setiawan, M.Pd. Some cash and certificate were given to the winners. This glorious achievement is as their active involvement in national students’ forum. Congratulation for Dwi Raharjo and Ridwan!

Magelang – Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (PBSI) mengadakan rapat ekspos borang akreditasi di ruang lab microteaching (10/02/2017). Rapat yang dipimpin Rangga Asmara, M.Pd. selaku Koordinator Prodi (Korprodi) PBSI itu membahas borang akreditasi yang segera diserahkan ke DIKTI.

“Borang ini hasil kerja keras tim yang akan segera kami bawa ke Jakarta minggu depan,” kata Rangga saat membuka rapat. Rapat dihadiri 14 dosen PBSI dan pejabat struktural Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Untidar.

Batas waktu penyerahan borang akreditasi adalah 19 Februari 2017. Diagendakan pada 14 Februari 2017 borang akreditasi tersebut sudah dibawa ke Jakarta.

Borang akreditasi PBSI dikerjakan oleh tim yang terdiri atas dosen-dosen PBSI. Proses pengerjaan borang sudah dimulai sejak Agustus 2016. Dengan kerja keras tim, akhirnya borang dapat diselesaikan. Marilah kita berdoa agar PBSI memperoleh akreditasi A. (IS)

FETT Untidar (16/02/2017) – On Friday, 10th February 2017, Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (PBSI) held a meeting for exposing accreditation form. Held in Microteaching Laboratory, the meeting was lead by Rangga Asmara, M. Pd as the Coordinator of PBSI. The meeting itself focused on the accreditaion form which should be handed soon to Ministry of Science

“We will hand this accreditation form in to the Ministry next week,” said Rangga Asmara, M. Pd in the opening of the meeting. The meeting was attended by 14 lecturers of PBSI and also several structural officials from Faculty of Education and Teacher Training.

Lecturers of PBSI has worked hard as the accreditation team. The accreditation form had been done since August 2016 by the team. The accrediation form has The deadline for the form submission is on 19th February 2017. The team of the accreditation scheduled to submit the form to the Ministry on 14th February 2017.

By doing tremendous effort, the team finally could complete the accreditation borang. Let’s hope for the best result, for PBSI getting score A for the accreditation.  (IS-NA)
