Senin (11/12), Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (PBSI) mengadakan penyerahan Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) ke Bernama TV di Malaysia. PKL tersebut diikuti oleh mahasiswa semester 5 yang mengikuti matakuliah Praktik Jurnalistik. Mereka akan berada di Malaysia selama satu bulan untuk PKL tersebut.
“PKL Internasional ini memang baru pertama kali di PBSI. Akan tetapi, selanjutnya akan menjadi program tahunan. Harapan kami kegiatan ini makin menguatkan salah satu profil lulusan PBSI sebagai jurnalis,” kata Koordinator PBSI, Rangga Asmara, M.Pd.
Saat ini mahasiswa yang mengikuti PKL Internasional sebanyak 5 mahasiswa. Mereka adalah Anggun Fitria Anindhi dan Azizoel Metiadini pada divisi Creative Program Radio dan Televisi, Nirma Melati divisi presenter, Meyta Lanjarwati divisi anchor, dan Junsa Ma Wika Re Kresna divisi cameraman. Kelima mahasiswa tersebut terpilih setelah melalui proses pendaftaran dan penjaringan serta seleksi administrasi dan wawancara oleh prodi untuk menentukan divisi peminatan.
Kelima mahasiswa PBSI tersebut diserahkan oleh Wakil Dekan Bidang Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan FKIP sekaligus Dosen Praktik Jurnalistik, Drs. Hari Wahyono, M.Pd., kepada Hakimi Mohd Zain selaku Chief Operations Office dan Nur Syazwani Zainudin selaku Penolong Eksekutif Latihan Pusat Kecemerlangan.
Azizoel Metiadini, salah satu peserta PKL Internasional, mengatakan diterima dengan baik di Bernama TV. “Kami sangat senang dengan sambutan di sini. Semua orang yang ada di Bernama TV ramah-ramah. Selain itu, kami juga benar-benar diajari mulai dari awal untuk proses kreatif di media massa televisi.”
Bernama TV atau Bernama News Channel (BNC) merupakan saluran TV berita milik Malaysia. Stasiun TV tersebut didirikan tahun 2008 dan sudah memiliki banyak acara yang dioperasikan selama 24 jam. WJ

Monday (11/12), Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program (PBSI) held handover of internship to Bernama TV in Malaysia. This internship was followed by 5th semester students who joined journalistic in practice course. They will be in Malaysia for about a month.
“This international internship was the first time for PBSI, but this internship will be annually activity. We hope this activity will further strengthen one of PBSI graduate’s profile as journalist,’ said the coordinator of PBSI, Rangga Asmara, M.Pd.
Students who join this internship are Anggun Fitria Anidhi and Azizoel Metiadini in Creative of Radio and Television Program division, Nirma Melati in Presenter divison, Metya Lanjarwati in anchor division, and Junsa Ma Wika Re Kresna in cameraman division. Those five students are chosen through registration, administration and interview selection by study program to determine division specialization.
Those five students are handed over by the Vice Dean for Academic and Students Affairs of Faculty of Education and Teacher raining (FKIP), who also a lecturer of journalistic in practice course, Drs. Hari Wahyono, M.Pd. to Hakimi Mohd Zain as Chief Operation Office and Nur Syazwani Zainudin as Assistant Executive of Training Center.
Azizoel Metiadini, one of the interns, said that they are welcomed by Bernama TV. “We are so pleased with the welcome here. Everyone in Bernama TV is friendly. In addition, we are also being taught from the beginning of the creative process in the mass media of Television.”
Bernama TV or Bernama News Channel (BNC) is Malaysian news channel. This TV station was established in 2008 and already has many events which are operated for 24 hours. (GF)
