Tuesday (10/7), hundreds of students assembled in Auditorium of Tidar University. They came from various cities to participate Education Seminar entitled “Multimodality on Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge”. This event was held by English Department Student Association which was attended by Dr. Nur Arifah Drajati, M.Pd as the source.
Marlinda Ayuni as the leader of the event said that this seminar was EDSA’s routine agenda. The theme of this seminar was 21st century learning method that based on technology in many models.
Dr. Nur Arifah Drajati,M.Pd opened the seminar by delivering “TPACK: The Concept and Practice to build Multimodal Literacy for 21st Century Learning”. Then this lecturer who comes from Sebelas Maret University (UNS) explained about technology usage in the classroom that supported Active Learning, Authentic Learning, Reflective Learning and Collaborative Learning.
The seminar has attended by some students from UNTIDAR, UNS, UNY, IAIN Kudus, and Universitas Terbuka, and some Senior High School teachers from Magelang, Temanggung, and the surrounding Magelang. This event was so attractive since Prof. Dr. Sukarno, M.Si opened the seminar, and furthermore it was added by Wilda Ulfiyanti and Octaviera Regita Prameswari who sang several songs.
Some students said that this seminar was so appropriate toward learning nowadays. “I’m so happy and I feel like I can get more exploration in using technology in lecture. “ said Ayu Desania as UNTIDAR second semester student.
Moch. Malik Al Firdaus,M.Pd as the Coordinator of PBI expects that EDSA’s routine agenda will always exist and give positive effect to the participants. (AG)
